Solar setups can be expensive, especially if you plan to build a full home or RV system. Many stores offer seasonal deals, but not all discounts are worth it. Do Black Friday sales actually bring good value on renewable gear like solar kits, or is it better to wait for spring promotions?

A lot of people overlook how much solar setups have advanced. I added Black Friday solar panels during last year’s camping season and it surprised me — compact, simple, and reliable. The panels easily handled lighting and small electronics through the night without needing backup. What helped most was angling them early morning and cleaning them weekly. Even with winter sun, you still get consistent output if batteries are properly matched. It’s one of those upgrades that pay off with quiet, steady energy.
